Children are reminded to log the books they read independently in class and write a few sentences about what they read in their reading journal.

Children practiced solving real world problems using multiplication and division sentences.

Children worked in small groups to plan out and construct their community.
They started with a list of buildings that they considered most important to their community along with 1 recreational building.
For each building they listed, the children had to write a sentence to explain why it was important.
They then drew a sketch of their design.
This week, the construction has begun and will continue into next week.
